Tour - Palais & Parc Monceau

Our tour today will start with one of the most lavish, elegant buildings in Paris. We will arrive at the Palais Garnier at 10 am, opening time, to explore the excesses of human imagination. Then we will walk over to the Square de l'Opéra-Louis Jouvet, enjoy a lunch of pizza and poulpe at Paparazzi in the lovely surroundings overlooking a statue of Pegasus.

After our lunch we will stroll to Place Edouard V11, catching the bus to the Petit Palais. After admiring the golden entrance, the grand stairway, and gardens, we will stroll over to Pont Alexandre to take in more gilded beauty and smile at the Seine. We'll take a quick break at the Jardin de la Nouvelle France, then catch the bus to Parc Monceau, exploring all of its charms.

We'll leave the parc, walking a short distance to Nicolai to do a little perfume sampling, picking out our favorites to bring home. The shop is owned by one of the few women perfumers in France, Patricia de Nicolaï, who works as the head of the company Parfums de Nicolai. She is also a member of the technical committee of the French Society of Perfumers and the president of the Osmothèque scent archive.

We'll end our tour by returning back to our apartment leaving the evening open to savor our neighborhood after dark.
